Senior Software Engineer needed by CG Infinity, Inc. in Plano, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions in technologies including Azure, AWS, and GitHub. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions in languages including .NET, C#, and javascript. Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Demonstrate strong coding skills. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Develop test plans and automation for systems using tools including Selenium and Test Cafe. Investigate problem areas and leverage all resources to investigate a problem. Identify potential risks of technology, platforms, and integrations. Follow the software development lifecycle. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Review work including writing, coding, and delivering. Mentor less experience peers and create action plan for their growth. Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business analysts and system architects, to understand requirements and design software solutions. Write code to implement the designed solutions using programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Leverage Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms to develop and deploy cloud-based applications or services. Configure and deploy the developed software solutions by ensuring their smooth installation and integration into the existing systems. Conduct code reviews and participate in peer programming sessions to provide and receive feedback on code quality. Work with automation and business analysis including the ability to design and implement robust automated testing frameworks utilizing JavaScript and TestCafe. Integrate Azure Pipeline with QA automation and Azure CI/CD workflows. Leverage Azure Pipeline to automate the testing process by integrating it with the QA automation framework and ensuring smooth deployment and testing of software solutions. Deploy using Octopus and Visual Cron. Utilize software version control systems such as Git.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation developing information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions in technologies including Azure, AWS, and GitHub; performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting; working with QA automation and business analysis including design and implementation of robust automated testing frameworks utilizing JavaScript and TestCafe; integrating Azure Pipeline with QA automation and Azure CI/CD workflows; leveraging Azure Pipeline to automate the testing process by integrating it with the QA automation framework and ensure smooth deployment and testing of software solutions; deploying using Octopus and Visual Cron; utilizing software version control systems such as Git.
