Principal Software QA Automation Engineer

Location:

Austin, Texas (Position available for Work from Home)

Position Duties:

Will lead and manage a globally distributed QA team responsible for maintaining the quality engineering of the Atlas Platform. Will lead large QE projects focusing on innovation, teamwork and results. Duties include the following:

· Engage with business and plan the quality analysis testing across functional, performance, regression and usability areas

· Work closely with the business and functional owners, project teams to understand the requirements and to develop the test plans

· Provide functional, regression and performance quality testing for the new and existing applications

· Identify gaps in the existing automation test cases and close them with long-term focus in mind

· Build QA test plans and cases with the goal of 100% automation to reduce the manual testing

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering

5 years’ experience as Software Developer or related field

Prior experience to include:

· QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes and tools.

· Analysis and architecture of automating functional, regression, performance and usability testing areas

· Selenium WebDriver, TestNg, cross browser testing

· Web services and API’s

· User experience testing, accessibility and cross browser support testing automation

· Unix, Oracle and non-relational database like MongoDB
