About the Role
- This position will be part of our Blue Planet Inventory (BPI) team, responsible for designing and developing Java/Python-based software solutions that manage and optimize network and service inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Design & Development: Develop and maintain robust Java/Python-applications, adhering to best coding practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with POD Lead , Team Lead , PO and Project Managers to translate requirements into technical implementations.
- Code Quality: Perform and participate in peer code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure consistent CI/CD practices.
- Documentation & Support: Contribute to technical documentation, help troubleshoot issues, and ensure post-deployment support.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Able to develop and debug UI code (based on angular)
Strong experience with Java and Python
Experience with Spring framework-based application development and strong knowledge in messaging system like Kafka
Strong in multithreading concepts
Proficiency with Git and build tools like Maven
Good in database concepts and need to be strong in any of the databases
Able to do the in-depth performance analysis of systems involving java code and databases
Able to debug applications using various tools like JFR, JProfiler or any other code instrumentation tools
