SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Position Purpose:

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for independently developing and consistently redesigning/refactoring a product to adapt to our customers and associates needs. Experience with vanilla JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks like React and modern CSS frameworks and experience developing Microservices, REST APIs, and other database-driven web applications using C# and .NET technologies is beneficial.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Sr. Software Engineers may be involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring as well as mentoring less experienced engineers.

Experience working with ORMs like Entity framework, dapper and Relational Databases like SQL Servers and familiarity with NoSQL databases like Mongo DB will be helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with vanilla JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks like React and modern CSS frameworks 
• Experience developing Microservices, REST APIs, and other database-driven web applications using C# and .NET technologies
• Familiarity with web security methodologies
• Experience working with ORMs like Entity framework, dapper and Relational Databases like SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Mongo DB
• Proficient with distributed version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with build and deploy pipelines

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

The pay range for this position is between $103,700 - $173,600
