Senior Software Engineer

 As Healthcare Quality Reporting and Improvement (HQRI) Operational Text Mining (OTM) team, we build text-mining engines and machine learning models to support Risk Adjustment and Stars. We also build web applications to support the Risk Adjustment workflow.

In this role, as a senior software engineer in HQRI-OTM team, you will have the opportunity to develop an AI-enabled web applications that integrate our text-mining engines and machine learning models to support Risk Adjustment and Stars activities. You will collaborate closely with Medicare risk adjustment team to improve the web application to meet their new business goals.

• Work with Medicare risk adjustment and Stars teams and implement new features to meet their business goals

• Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Design and implement front-end interfaces using web applications.

• Develop server-side logic using frameworks such as Django, integrating with databases, APIs.

• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain web applications in production environments.

This role is Hybrid Home – Candidates will need to come into the office once or twice per week

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree

• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$106,900 - $147,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
