Job Description
Reporting to Software Engineering Manager, you’ll help us empower and enable engineering teams, develop innovative products, work with challenging and complex code, and develop market-leading cloud-based solutions in the Fitness and Wellbeing sector. Using ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, SQL, the MVC framework, and a variety of technologies, you will be a part of a market-leading software platform that makes day-to-day operations simple, efficient, and enjoyable for organizations in the fitness and wellbeing industry.
Some other responsibilities you'll have:
- Build an innovative product with Microsoft technologies, from back-end to front-end.
- Participate in daily scrum activities and collaborate on delivering projects in an agile environment.
- Write clean, testable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Diagnose problems and defects by collecting information, finding root causes, and fixing them.
- Help improve and evolve our advanced architecture following best-in-industry patterns.
- Have a keen eye for improvement in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Involve and engage with other developers and other teams and motivate and connect with others.
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them towards raising their own software quality standards.
- Refactor existing code, write unit tests and review other teammates code.
- Estimate, plan and implement new features in collaboration with product and design.
- Participate in full-life cycle software development.
- Should have proven experience in SOLID principles, design patterns
- Should have experience in MVC, MVVM, layered/tiered architecture
Qualifications
- Full-cycle software development experience.
- Experience using ASP.Net MVC framework and C# over Microsoft SQL data repositories.
- Proficiency in Web UI framework libraries such as: jQuery, Kendo and Knockout.Js (Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries such as Vue, React and Angular is definitely a plus!).
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms and Performance.
- Experience in any of the public cloud - Azure, AWS. Exposure to DevOps will be considered as advantage.
- Professional and articulate communications skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals.
- Ability to work in a team where you manage your own time and priorities,
- Motivated by a fast-paced environment where you will have to constantly adapt.
- You're a true team player who knows that we all have to sometimes roll up our sleeves.
