Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Platform Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Power Platform solutions through partnerships with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, other developers and leaders across multiple departments and business units. This individual will understand the importance of leading projects with a consultative approach to identifying the need, while being able to speak at a highly technical level during the solution design and development phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Power Platform solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Power Platform and provide guidance to other team members and makers on best practices around items such as solution design, application lifecycle management, data loss prevention and environment strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers and business analysts to understand technical and functional requirements, and provide recommendations around the design, development, and support of new and existing Power Platform solutions, including the integration of third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and other design artifacts.
  • Ensure that Power Platform solutions are monitored, supported, and built for high availability.
  • Stay current with new features and capabilities in the Power Platform and make recommendations for their use as appropriate.
  • Mentor other team members on Power Platform development and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Power Platform solution development.
  • At least one Power Platform Microsoft Certification
  • Strong knowledge of Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows and business process flows), Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE, Logic Apps.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with systems and platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph, Salesforce.
  • Has experience creating CI/CD Pipelines for Power Platform via Azure DevOps.
  • Has strong experience in building application with .NET/C# development.
  • Strong knowledge of the Center of Excellent toolkit, and how to configure the toolkit as well as maintain a Power Platform tenant using these apps and flows.
  • Has strong experience in building custom connectors, utilizing RESTful APIs and other integration techniques and tools.
  • Strong with PowerShell and PowerFx.
  • Familiar with tools like Azure Functions, Azure Automation Runbooks, Logic Apps
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

  • Experience building PCF controls preferred.
  • Power Platform Solution Architect Certification: PL-600 (or has the ability to obtain it).
  • Experience creating and utilizing Azure Functions highly preferred.
  • SQL experience preferred
