Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development using React. The ideal candidate is an expert in React functional components and has a deep understanding of state management, UI design, and performance optimization. This role is critical for delivering new features and enhancements to software applications that support our Over-the-Phone Interpretation and Business Process Outsourcing businesses. The candidate will also assist with the production support of existing and new solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React.js with a focus on functional components, Redux, and Material UI.
• Architect and implement software solutions that are deployed on Azure.
• Optimize front-end performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and memoization.
• Utilize CSS preprocessing with Sass to create efficient and maintainable styles.
• Implement front-end testing using tools like vitest, jest, or React Testing Library.
• Configure and manage build tools, such as Vite, to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers and other team members to ensure seamless API integration and data management.
• Promote best practices in state management and component design patterns.

Essential Skills and Experience Required

• Proficiency in React Functional Components and Redux & Redux Toolkit.
• Experience with CSS Preprocessing (e.g., Sass) and UI Design using Material UI.
• Strong knowledge of build tools, particularly Vite, and experience with front-end testing frameworks.
• Expertise in state management best practices and API integration.
• Ability to optimize front-end performance using advanced techniques.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
• Strong initiative, ability to work independently, and a sense of ownership.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on React.js, C#, and Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle, design principles, and agile methodologies.
