Job Description
Develop and maintain software applications using mainly Java and another high-level classbased language.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective tests, including acceptance, functional, and unit tests.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of distributed systems to automate onboarding and user management in an internal service with 10k+ monthly active users
- Administration of CI/CD pipelines that build, test and deploy services
- Designing and implementing user-consumed APIs
- Contributing to existing codebases within our vast suite of compliance tools to add new functionality
- Triaging incidents and providing 2nd/3rd level support to users
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications in Java on top of SpringBoot
- Demonstrated experience in one or more scripting languages, preferably Python
- Experience engineering web applications in Go
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI
- Strong background in API design and testing, experience with OpenAPI 3.x a plus
- Strong understanding of git version control, familiarity with Git Flow branching model a plus
- Ability to collaborate in a team following Kanban agile methodology
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
