We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Poland where you will contribute to the development of advanced distributed server systems. As a Senior Software Engineer at SimCorp, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing distributed systems. This role requires expertise in coding, a strong foundation in computer science, and experience in cloud backend development. You will have an important role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, consistency, and debuggability of our systems.
What you will be responsible for:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement highly distributed and scalable systems

Develop and maintain cloud backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and resilience

Utilize multi-threaded programming techniques to optimize system efficiency

Apply comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex production service issues
-
Plan and schedule software development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code
-
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
What we value:

Significant experience in a similar role

Proficiency in coding in C#

Proven experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems

Solid background in cloud backend development and monitoring tools (e.g., AppInsights), with a focus on performance, reliability, resilience, and scale-out

Expertise in multi-threaded programming

Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, with excellent testing, debugging, and analytical skills

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production service issues at scale

Efficient English communication skills, both written and verbal
