The Role:

The Analytics team at Imply is a product focused team responsible for building a simple, easy to use “no code” visualization engine powered by Druid that makes it easy for customers to visualize and gather insights from their data. As a member of the Analytics team you will develop and maintain our full stack analytics application Pivot that is used by thousands of end users and processes terabytes of data all while rendering visualizations within seconds. Responsibilities:

• Build great user experiences that make it easy for customers to easily create visualizations to gain insights from their data
• Partner with both product and cross-functional teams to build, scale, and implement elegant application infrastructure solutions that scale and are built with enterprise-class operational excellence
• Drive operational excellence to ensure the team is able to respond quickly and efficiently if any incident were to occur
• Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and other operational duties as needed to ensure service delivery quality

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production quality applications using Node.js
• Experience with front-end systems such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.js (we use React)
• Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and other engineers

Bonus Points: 

• Experience with containerized application deployment using Kubernetes in CI/CD
• Experience building data applications that have processed large amounts of data 
• Familiarity with Druid or another large scale OLAP database
• Have a cool data app to demo that you’ve built

Individual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications aligned with Imply’s internal levelings guidelines and benchmarks. The below range encompasses roles with on target earnings. This role is also eligible to participate in Imply’s equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.

Compensation: $90,000 - $225,000
