This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of an organization with an outstanding product, operation, and culture. We are seeking an experienced Senior UI Engineer (SUIE) that is ready to advance to the next level. This role is key to helping LogicMonitor accelerate growth by being a foundational contributor of the engineering team, helping us to become a best-in-class infrastructure software product engineering team. As the SUIE, reporting to Manager of Software Engineering, you will cultivate strong individual contribution and demonstrate best practices. Make your mark being comfortable participating in short term planning, contributing technical and domain expertise to the conversation. This role presents an amazing opportunity to workshop with the development team in design reviews, and give constructive feedback in Pull Request reviews.
Here's a closer look at this key role:
- Participating in design workshops where customer requirements are converted into acceptance tests.
- Prioritize and plan for deliverables in an iterative development strategy, according to our 2 week scrum schedule & 1 week regression testing. (Working towards a continuous deployment strategy)
- Design, document, code, and test technical solution for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product/application issues for escalated support cases.
- Collaborate with a diverse, distributed development organization. Our development team spans multiple cities in the US and Asia.
- Ability to tackle performance and design issues at a deep technical level.
- Bachelors Degree required, Computer Science or Math preferred
- 8+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications
- 4+ years of full-time experience as a JavaScript developer using a modern framework like React, Angular and Typescript experienceTypeScript
- 2+ years of Cloud experience (AWS, Azure ..)
- Functional programming experience with familiarity with Ramda or equivalent
- Expert in implementing and optimizing agile development and continuous integration / continuous delivery methodologies
- Experience with contributing to complex web applications, testing components, and contributing to a collaborative team repository
- High level of comfort with browser debug tools for layout, process inspection, and network analysis

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
