As a key member of the Clients & Ecosystems team, you will champion the effort to enhance the developer experience for our client libraries. You'll also foster collaboration with the open-source community and ensure seamless access to Redis capabilities end-to-end.
- Develop official client libraries for Redis that are used by thousands of customers and open source projects worldwide
- Add support for Redis capabilities in official client libraries and ecosystem projects
- Advocate for the best developer experience, code ergonomics, and idiomacy
- Work closely with team members, Product, DevOps, Support, Customer Success and other R&D teams.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience with Java and C/C++/Rust/Go and a deep understanding of their ecosystems (frameworks, libraries).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and system design principles.
- Fluent English for clear documentation, technical explanations, and team collaboration.
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving mindset for tackling complex challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Experience with maintaining database drivers or client libraries
- Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)
