DUTIES: Involve close interaction with the entire CORE scrum team, Systems Architect, development team leaders, business team members and other members of the development team and demand a high level of design and coding to implement and deliver enhancements. Provide leadership and technical expertise to enable multi-layered solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data, and infrastructure designs. Build high quality systems that solve complex problems on a massive scale. Develop in an Agile/SAFe environment. Develop applications on back-office microservices, mobile, web, and in-vehicle customer platforms. Leverage the company's private Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Hybrid Cloud environment, Notification Platforms, Customer domain applications and Big Data backend services, allowing opportunities to work in numerous technologies on applications achieving continuous availability. Leverage technology enabling a new generation of connected vehicles worldwide. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field of study and Six (6) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role. Six (6) years of experience with: Delivering Java and JEE business solutions; Working with agile development environment and DevOps culture; Developing 12-factor microservices while utilizing Continuous Integration, Build, and Delivery w/Spring, and Spring Boot; Multiple interface patterns including RESTful APIs and event-based messaging; Pivotal Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, Git, Junit, Dynatrace, ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Yaml, Swagger, Insomnia, Maven, Azure compute services, AKS, Istio service mesh, Argo CD, and Observability tools; Pivotal Cloud Foundry; and Supporting applications in production including Incident management, Triage support, Notification platform knowledge, Firebase Messaging service, and Apple Push Notification Service. Five (5) years of experience with: Building and maintaining highly automated CI and CD pipelines leveraging technologies including Azure DevOps Server (formerly TFS), Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Black Duck, Chef, and SonarQube; Writing basic SQL queries; Oracle, Postgres, and NoSQL experience with Cassandra; Designing and implementing container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; and ELK stack and dashboarding within Kibana. Four (4) years of experience with: Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies; and Utilizing platform and infrastructure-as-a service technologies and capabilities and their corresponding services including object store, configuration management, and service registries.
