WHAT WE DO
Matter Administration helps customers grow and scale the eDiscovery practices and businesses they run on Relativity. The team delivers solutions that improve administrator productivity, simplify configuration, and streamline system preparation for matter review.
From matter setup and workspace configuration to data archiving, restore, cost management, and billing solutions, Matter Administration provides the tools and services Relativity Administrators use to manage their environments effectively.
This team is building a greenfield product and owns the full solution lifecycle, from implementation in .NET to deployment through GitHub Actions and monitoring with New Relic. Team members contribute to architecture, influence engineering best practices, and help shape modern, scalable cloud solutions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary mission will be to design, develop, test, deploy, and support RelativityOne cloud solutions built on Azure using .NET and C#. You will work as part of a Scrum team, collaborating closely with engineering peers and business stakeholders to deliver products, features, and services that evolve the RelativityOne platform.
You will contribute technical expertise across the software development lifecycle, mentor less experienced engineers, and support the team’s technical leadership while helping drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Job Description and Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Contribute to a Scrum team throughout all phases of the software lifecycle, including conception, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Architect and design performant, scalable, and secure software solutions with a strong focus on quality.
Apply object-oriented analysis, design, and programming principles using C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
Provide technical guidance to help deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software operating on large volumes of data.
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration testing strategies, including static analysis.
Improve software development processes by identifying and driving meaningful changes.
Identify, document, automate, and engineer solutions for repetitive operational tasks.
Contribute to and mature automated CI/CD deployment and upgrade workflows.
Use monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Improve software quality, completeness, and knowledge sharing across the team.
Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and respond to customer-specific problems.
Coach and mentor team members through technical guidance and education.
Participate in an on-call rotation as a second line of support after gaining sufficient domain experience.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience developing commercial software systems and applications using C#.
Experience building cloud-scalable solutions using cloud-native patterns, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
Experience working with scalable database technologies.
Experience building a cloud-focused DevOps mindset, including CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, and LaunchDarkly, along with mature observability practices.
Ability to design and implement mature deployment and release solutions.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools into day-to-day engineering workflows, including:
AI-assisted code generation, refactoring, and review.
Using AI for technical design, solution exploration, and documentation.
Leveraging AI to plan and structure development and release activities.
Critically evaluating AI-generated outputs and taking ownership of final technical decisions.
Experience working in Agile software teams, including mentoring, feature leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Fluency in English.
Preferred
Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management solutions such as Pulumi.
Experience with observability platforms and monitoring solutions such as New Relic and Grafana.
Experience building web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Experience developing applications with .NET Core.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
208 000 and 312 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
