Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Sitecore and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our Enterprise IT team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, development, and optimization of our enterprise digital experience platform, leveraging Sitecore and AI technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions. You will also play a key role in integrating modern headless architectures and AI-driven capabilities to create exceptional digital experiences.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Platform Architecture & Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of enterprise Sitecore solutions. Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications while leveraging AI tools and AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- AI Innovation: Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI technologies that enhance development productivity, content management, personalization, search, automation, and customer experiences. Design and develop AI-powered solutions where appropriate.
- Headless & Composable Development: Design and implement modern headless architectures using Sitecore XM Cloud, GraphQL, and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js to build flexible, high-performance digital experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, DevOps engineers, Digital Marketing teams, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Engineering Excellence: Promote software engineering best practices through architecture reviews, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and technical mentoring.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise security standards, data privacy requirements, accessibility guidelines, and governance policies.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience building enterprise Content Management System (CMS) solutions.
- Strong expertise in Sitecore XP/XM (including Sitecore 10+), Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), Sitecore XM Cloud, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, and modern headless/composable architectures using React or Next.js.
- Strong proficiency with AI tools and hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating AI-powered solutions into enterprise applications. Experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms), large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI agent development is highly desirable.
- Proven experience designing scalable architectures, developing APIs, troubleshooting complex production issues, optimizing website performance, and mentoring developers within Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Sitecore Developer Certification is highly desirable.
