Spec-Driven Development (GitHub SpecKit): Utilize GitHub SpecKit framework (constitution rules, spec/plan/task workflows) to transition from ad-hoc coding to structured, agentic AI workflows. Define clear non-negotiable architectural principles, system boundaries, and clear specifications prior to automated code execution.
Model Selection & Architecture Alignment: Strategically select and evaluate optimal AI models (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI o-series/GPT-4o, GitHub Copilot) based on task complexity, context window constraints, latency, and reasoning requirements.
Model Context Protocol (MCP) Integration: Leverage and configure Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to grant AI agents secure, context-aware access to enterprise databases, internal APIs, and developer tools without exposing sensitive corporate data.
Continuous AI Skill Development & Upskilling: Drive personal AI proficiency and lead team-wide upskilling initiatives on emerging AI capabilities, modern prompt engineering patterns, and agentic development workflows.
Prompt Engineering for Code & Quality: Formulate precise technical prompts to auto-generate high-coverage unit/integration/E2E tests, C# boilerplate, and SQL scripts adhering strictly to WEX architectural standards.
Code Refactoring & Technical Debt Reduction: Utilize AI tools to analyze legacy C# and SQL codebases, identifying performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10), and opportunities for modern refactoring.
AI Governance & Code Review Standards: Serve as a technical gatekeeper for AI-generated code—ensuring all agentic outputs undergo rigorous code reviews, automated security scanning, and manual validation for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
