Own the implementation of security remediation and compliance checks for core services supporting RHIVOS, ensuring strict adherence to Enterprise Security Standards.
What You Will Do:
- Lead Security Operating Approvals to satisfy internal audit requirements, including successfully completing formal Privacy Impact Analysis (PIA) and Security Impact Analysis (SIA).
- Apply advanced Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to write and maintain resilient, well-tested modules based on functional safety and risk assessment outcomes.
- Write production-grade modules for OpenShift Tekton ecosystem pipelines.
- Implement validation for RHIVOS packages based on the functional safety standards ISO-26262 and ASIL-B.
- Rigorously refine safety mitigation hypotheses through data analysis and ensure efficient, structured communication with the Subject Matter Experts in Assessment Team.
What You Will Bring:
- Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
- Must have three (3) years of experience deploying and orchestrating at scale within enterprise-grade, distributed container hosting platforms.
- Must have two (2) years of experience with: developing core libraries and validation modules in Python or equivalent; implementing or maintaining systems against ISO-26262 Functional Safety standards, including follow-on activities; developing code for automated package validation using Continuous Certification or similar high-assurance validation frameworks; and security and compliance of services, tools and infrastructure.
- Must have one (1) year of experience with: using Koji (or Brew or equivalent) for building and managing RPM-based distributions and RHEL composes; release engineering processes, including triaging failures for RHEL streams and working with Red Hat published errata and advisories; managing the full lifecycle of artifacts required for RHEL (or equivalent) image creation; creating supply chain pipelines for RHIVOS toolchain in OpenShift; and providing evidence of compliance for Quality Management Systems supporting standards ISO-21434 and IEEE-32675.

The salary range for this position is $157,248 - $195,680/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
