In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end development frameworks, including state management and responsive UI development.
- Experience designing and implementing Event-Driven Architectures using messaging and streaming platforms.
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka concepts, producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong source control and branching strategy experience using Git.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated unit tests, integration tests, and test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably GCP or AWS. Azure experience is also acceptable.
- Strong database development and design experience with Oracle or other relational databases, including SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and schema design.
- Experience working with at least one NoSQL database such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
- Awareness of Python and its usage in automation, scripting, data processing, or AI/ML-related initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access Management, or related security domains is a strong plus.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Build and enhance cloud-native solutions leveraging modern architecture principles and best engineering practices.
- Develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable code with appropriate unit testing and automated test coverage.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver business capabilities.
- Contribute to application modernization, cloud migration, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Git, Harness, GitHub Actions, and related DevOps tools.
- Design and optimize database solutions, including relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, observability, and performance through engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentoring activities.
- Work closely with QA teams to improve automated test coverage and overall product quality.
- Adopt security-by-design principles and ensure compliance with enterprise cybersecurity standards.
- Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to improve delivery outcomes.
