Position Overview
Autodesk Platform Services – Product Access & Emerging Technology is looking for talented Cloud Engineers to build the next generation of platform services powering Autodesk's Product Access domain. This team owns the core platform responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and reliable access to Autodesk products and services across millions of users and thousands of enterprise customers.
In this role, you will design and develop backend applications orchestrates critical Product Access workflows, including user onboarding, entitlement provisioning, product assignment, authorization, subscription lifecycle automation, and policy-driven access management. The platform serves as foundational infrastructure consumed by Autodesk product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and intelligent access experiences.
Responsibilities
Design and implement workflows that automate Product Access lifecycle management, including user provisioning, entitlement assignment, product onboarding, access revocation, and subscription lifecycle events.
Build highly scalable services that manage identity, authorization, product entitlements, and access policies across a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
Collaborate closely with Identity, Licensing, Commerce, and Platform teams to deliver seamless end-to-end Product Access experiences.
Design APIs and event-driven workflows that integrate with enterprise entitlement services, licensing systems, and internal platform services.
Ensure strong security, auditability, and compliance for all access management workflows through fine-grained authorization, policy enforcement, and comprehensive observability.
Build AI-native workflow capabilities that enable intelligent workflow orchestration, policy automation, and AI agents to assist platform operations and developer productivity.
Build systems that enable compliance across the company products / tools
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years’ professional working experience in software development or quality assurance role
Familiarity with project management and defect tracking systems such as Jira or equivalent
Self-motivated problem solver, possessing initiative to get things done with minimal supervision
Experience building web services with AWS cloud
Strong experience in at least of the programming language as Java, Python, Golang
Sound working knowledge of AI assisted development methods / tools such as Cursor, Claude Code
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science or other relevant engineering discipline
Experience working in a very large code base, including enhancing and resolving issues in pre-existing code
