Title and Summary
Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and a quality-first mindset, contributing across the full software development lifecycle including development, automated testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies.• Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
DevOps & Automation• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.• Improve build, deployment, and testing processes through automation.• Monitor application performance and participate in operational support.
Quality Engineering • Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and API tests.• Build and maintain automated test suites to improve product quality and release confidence.• Create test scenarios, test data, and validation strategies based on business requirements.• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.• Support performance, deployment verification, and release testing activities.
Collaboration & Leadership• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.• Drive continuous improvement in development and testing processes.
Required Skills• 7+ years of experience in Java development.• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Microservices.• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, REST Assured, Postman, or similar testing frameworks.• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.• Experience API Automation, or test automation frameworks.• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
