Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable voice/IVR applications using TypeScript, AWS Lex, and LLM-based AI
- Implement intelligent intent detection and conversational flows using LLMs to enhance Lex capabilities
- Build backend services and APIs using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
- Integrate IVR systems with telephony platforms and enterprise applications
- Develop end-to-end voice solutions including call routing, prompts, fallback handling, and AI-driven responses
- Optimize voice interactions for accuracy, latency, and user experience
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production IVR/AI systems
- Collaborate with product, UX, and data/AI teams to deliver conversational AI solutions
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, agile processes, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience with solid TypeScript/JavaScript skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lex, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
- Experience building conversational AI/IVR systems and integrating with telephony platforms
- Experience with LLMs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) for intent detection and conversational AI
- Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment on AWS
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock for building, deploying, and scaling generative AI applications
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of debugging, performance optimization, and system reliability
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
