We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in backend development to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power high-performance applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable services, optimize system performance, and deliver robust software solutions that support business growth.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and working on distributed systems that require scalability, security, and high availability.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
  • Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices that support modern web and mobile applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following software engineering best practices.
  • Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design and manage database schemas, queries, and data models for high-performance applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Create automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
  • Improve application security, monitoring, logging, and observability.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Mentor junior developers by sharing technical knowledge and promoting engineering best practices.
Required SkillsMust-Have Skills
  • Strong experience in Backend Engineering with a solid understanding of scalable application development.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, Node.js, or similar.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, caching, asynchronous processing, and messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing backend applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
