The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help evolve Action Platform. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering powerful, scalable features across both the frontend and backend, enabling users to build complex workflows with ease.
You’ll work in a cross-functional squad alongside product managers, designers, and engineers. You’ll contribute across the stack – building robust backend services in Go, designing intuitive UIs with React, and helping define the architecture that powers our automation ecosystem.
What You’ll Do Every Day- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in Go for workflow orchestration, automation logic, and third-party integrations.
- Build and refine frontend features using TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks, ensuring a seamless and performant user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape product direction and ensure technical feasibility of feature designs.
- Partner closely with frontend and backend teammates to define clear API contracts and system interfaces.
- Drive architecture and design discussions across the stack, contributing to a cohesive and maintainable codebase.
- Champion performance, reliability, observability, and security best practices across the platform.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience working across the stack in a modern engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Go (or another strongly typed language with the willingness to learn Go).
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern frontend architecture.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL interfaces.
- Strong systems design and architecture skills – you’re comfortable thinking through distributed workflows and integration boundaries.
- A strong product mindset – you care deeply about UX, developer experience, and solving real customer problems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Bonus: experience with low-code/no-code platforms, workflow engines, or integration tooling.
