Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer— Web Development Specialist, you will lead the design and development of our web-based digital platforms, focusing on creating intuitive and high-performance interfaces. This role requires expertise in React/Next.js JavaScript, with the added advantage of Drupal web development experience. Familiarity with hybrid frameworks and a strong foundation in AWS cloud technologies are highly desirable for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development:
- Design and develop responsive, scalable, and visually stunning web interfaces using React and NextJS.
- Implement micro-front-end architectures to enhance system modularity.
- Work on Drupal-based web platforms, leveraging its CMS capabilities to deliver premium user experiences.
- Ensure optimal web performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Integration & Collaboration:
- Work with app-focused engineers to ensure seamless hybrid framework interoperability.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support dynamic web content.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
AWS & Architecture:
- Leverage AWS services to optimize hosting, scalability, and performance for web applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development for continuous web deployment.
- Advocate for best practices in cloud-based architecture and infrastructure.
Problem Solving:
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in the web stack.
- Innovate solutions to improve system reliability and scalability.
Desired Competency
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years React/React Native experience
- 1-3 years Next.js experience
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with expertise in modern frameworks and scalable architectures
- Expertise in JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Drupal web development, including site-building, theming, and module development
- Familiarity with hybrid development frameworks like Ionic is a plus
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, CloudFront) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI, and responsive development
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a flexible hybrid work environment.
