As a Senior Software Engineer for Client and Firmwide Platforms at BXTI, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation, foster a culture of excellence, and contribute to the long-term growth and success of Blackstone. You will be responsible for guiding and implementing key technical solutions across the Fund Finance space, as well as mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership for the Client and Firmwide Platforms team, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.

Technology Strategy: Define and execute the technology roadmap for client-facing and firmwide platforms, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technology partners to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful project delivery.

Solution Architecture: Provide technical guidance and oversight in the design and architecture of software applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Project Execution: Drive the successful execution of technology projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to evaluate and select solutions, manage relationships, and drive value for Blackstone.

Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and provide thought leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong command of C#, SQL, Python, and relevant technologies.

Experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring teams of software engineers and technical professionals.

Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.

Deep understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices.
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior executives and business stakeholders.

Experience in successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate through ambiguity and drive results.

Experience in the financial services industry or related field is preferred.

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Expected annual base salary range:
$110,000 - $225,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
