We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our User Management team. In this critical role, you will design and build secure, scalable, and user-friendly User Management systems that ensure seamless authentication, authorization, and identity management. You will leverage technologies like ReactJS, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment to create systems that protect our users and infrastructure.

This role will require in-office collaboration for at least 3 days per week in our Palo Alto, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and developing User management capabilities including APIs to support customers and microservice authentication and authorization.
  • Liaison with Product Manager, Engineering Manager and other agile teams to align with the overall product vision and architecture design.
  • Extraordinary communication and collaboration skills. You are pragmatic and know how to build trust.
  • Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the company's software products.
  • Contributing to quality and security through code reviews and Agile driven test-based-development, documentation and continuous integration processes.
  • Lead with a positive mindset, can-do attitude, and extreme ownership over your work, inspiring accountability within the team.
  • Provide training and mentorship, passionately developing the skills and talents of others.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry developments to ensure that the company's software products remain competitive.
  • Help to attract top-notch talent to join our existing team of experienced engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and in-depth knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with cutting-edge frontend tools and technologies such as GraphQL, Websockets, Webpack, React Hooks, Jest, RxJS, Redux, and Flux.
  • Expertise in CSS and HTML to implement pixel-perfect UIs that match designs, including clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions.
  • Familiarity with React Native and general mobile development best practices.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, such as authentication, authorization, RBAC/ABAC, account lifecycle, least privilege.knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, such as authentication, authorization, RBAC/ABAC and security protocols (SAML, OpenID, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Backend Foundations:Experience with modern API frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Node.JS, Python and a solid foundation in REST best practices.
  • Familiarity with AWS microservices, including AWS Lambdas and AWS DynamoDB, to develop efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Experience with security systems like OKTA and Auth0 is a big plus.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified. 

Annualized Pay Range

$175,000$275,000 USD
