Senior Software Engineer - TypeScript /Node.js

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile gaming industry.

You’ll join our Engineering team, working within a dedicated squad of up to 10 members. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate closely, innovate, and drive impactful results end-to-end.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering & Data team. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of your scope from solution design to deployment, balancing quality with efficient delivery.

• Support teammates' growth

• Own features end-to-end: from architecture and implementation to deployment and monitoring

• Work with event-driven systems (SQS/SNS) to build robust, decoupled services

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/ Node.js (NestJS)

• Good knowledge of industry best practices (SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DDD, TDD...)

• Extensive experience delivering successful products with high value to internal, B2B or B2C users

• Strong experience tackling complex backend challenges: breaking down monoliths, building systems from scratch, rules-based engines, complex third-party integrations

• Pragmatic, adaptable and results-oriented with a problem-solving approach

• A product mindset — you care about the user, not just the code

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, query optimization

• Strong ownership mindset: autonomous, innovative, and able to drive initiatives independently

• Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus)

• Vue.js experience or familiarity with a modern frontend framework

• Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD pipelines

• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, Helm)

• Observability tooling: OpenTelemetry, Grafana
