Job responsibilities:
- Understand the requirements of software projects and build test plans appropriate to those requirements.
- Understand the software architectures of the team deliverables; participate in design discussions.
- Write clean, high quality, solid, readable code that scales.
- Comply and align with software development professionalism standards within the team.
- Communicate clear needs for implementation modifications with the design teams.
- Work closely with Applications, System and V&V Engineers.
- Evaluate overall system technical ability to meet the performance, functionality, and reliability goals.
- Assess system-level risks, requirements, and possible failures to generate an integration strategy.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with minimum 5 years of experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Python software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with C++/Java software development.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Strong understanding of multithreaded code, synchronization methods and high-performance computing.
- Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
- Robust debugging, optimizing and unit testing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.
- Highly self-motivated learner and able to understand tasks on own initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux based programming.
- Hands-on experience with Front-End development using Angular or similar framework.
- Experience with modern CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins, Git Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, gRPC, REST, SQL commands and DBs and Scripting.
- Experience in developing for SW/HW integrated systems (such as medical devices).
