Position Overview
As an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and architecture of our systems, workflows, and overall customer experience. This position requires a skilled individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, multi-team environment, combining Quality Assurance expertise with Software Development best practices, and a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, with a focus on Agile methodology.
- Review requirements and technical design documents, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases while extending Development and QA automation frameworks.
- Develop release-level test plans, test matrices, and execute them, while advancing test automation efforts.
- Identify, document, and track bugs; perform thorough regression testing post-resolution.
- Develop and refine testing processes for both new and existing products.
- Stay current with the latest testing tools and strategies, and assist in setting up and maintaining Jenkins jobs for automation.
- Provide technical support to team members, specifically related to test script development.
- Participate in test-driven development (TDD) and establish integration test infrastructures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in developing code for automation testing using C# or Python.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and test automation tools.
- Familiarity with risk management during the software development process.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across the full software development life cycle.
- Experience in writing and maintaining test frameworks and automation tools.
- Proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript coding.
- Experience with functional API testing, integration testing, and UI testing.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, and JavaScript unit-testing frameworks.
- Experience working in a service-oriented architecture.

The ideal candidate is a team player and individual contributor with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in working with complex architectures, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to take on new challenges are essential.
