Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Sr Software Developer with deep hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, and Business Process Management (BPM) to drive the evolution of our Telecommunications-a-Service-Platform; a cutting-edge telecom solution built on AWS and Kubernetes. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the integration and automation of complex telecom workflows, enabling customers to craft innovative telecom experiences directly within their applications.

What You Will Do
  • Architect and develop scalable microservices in Java and JavaScript for our telecom platform.

  • Spearhead the integration and automation of BPM workflows using BPMN technologies.

  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions to enhance automation, decision-making, and customer experience across our platform.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance our SDK, empowering external developers to build on our platform.

  • Optimize performance and reliability across our cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).

  • Follow best practices in design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Key Qualifications
  • Telecom Domain Experience: Deep understanding of telecom concepts—Customer and Service Order Management lifecycle, provisioning across network elements (HLR, HSS, PCRF/OCS, OTA, Mobile Number Portability etc.). Knowledge of TMForum standards.

  • 6+ years in software development, with expertise in back-end systems.

  • Hands-on experience in software design, architecture, and data modeling for large-scale systems.

  • Proven expertise in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React).

  • Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Hands-on knowledge of BPMN and workflow engines like Camunda (highly preferred).

  • Passion for building developer-friendly tools and APIs.

  • Proficiency with development environments such as GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, translate requirements into design/architecture, and execute independently.

  • Expertise in designing scalable, large-scale systems with a focus on enterprise applications.

  • A college or university degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Candidates with the following experience will be given strong preference:

  • AI/ML Experience: Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP, predictive analytics, or AI-driven automation solutions.

  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications or workflow engines.

  • Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, or conversational AI systems.
