Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering (Technical Lead) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and engineering, with proven experience leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The Software Engineering Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding the development team, making key technical decisions, and ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead a team of software developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Architect and design scalable and reliable software systems that meet the company’s technical and business objectives.
- Write clean, maintainable code and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
- Review code, provide feedback, and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development and apply them to the team's processes.
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Software Engineer, with 2+ years in a leadership or technical lead role.
- Strong proficiency in Java is required,
- Experience in programming languages such as Python. Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Vue, jQuery) is also highly desirable.
- Experience with AWS and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) with experience in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes and enhance development efficiency.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 105,000 and PHP 165,000 monthly. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
