Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Supply Chain Technology team. This role is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that optimize supply chain operations, improve logistics efficiency, and enhance data visibility across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications that support supply chain functions such as inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and operations experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices to support integration with internal systems and external partners.
- Optimize system performance and scalability to handle large volumes of supply chain data.
- Implement automation and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in supply chain and logistics software
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years Unix or Linux shell scripting
- 4+ years Oracle PL/SQL experience
- 2 + years of experience with Web Services Development
- 2+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies
- 2+ Cognos Business Intelligence Reporting experience
- Experience with SaaS, IaaS and PaaS models
- Familiar with SaaS identity and security integrations
- Familiar with SAP Concur solution
- Engineering experience in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of API Development and Integration
- 3+ years of financial services experience
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps related practices
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
