Join DN as a Splunk Developer – Drive Insight Through Data Visualization

Are you passionate about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights? We’re looking for a Splunk Developer who thrives on building fast, intuitive dashboards and crafting powerful searches that bring clarity to dynamic data environments.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and develop Splunk dashboards that seamlessly blend real-time data with static lookup tables.
  • Optimize visualizations for performance and user experience in both Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise environments.
  • Own the health of the Splunk ecosystem—managing data ingestion, troubleshooting issues, and engineering smart workarounds.
  • Collaborate across teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions that integrate smoothly into operational workflows.
  • Apply modern tools and best practices to ensure system functionality, security, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-performance Splunk dashboards and searches that deliver fast, intuitive data visualizations for complex event data and static lookup tables.
  • Design, code, test, and document Splunk components to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise applications and data sources.
  • Troubleshoot and support Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to data ingestion, system health, and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical objectives and scalable Splunk solutions.
  • Estimate development effort for Splunk components and contribute to overall project planning and cost estimation.
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to the development of aligned testing strategies to ensure system integrity and reliability.
  • Ensure quality, performance, and adherence to specifications across assigned development tasks and adjacent technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation within Splunk implementations and broader product workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship general users, work cooperatively with fellow Splunk developer, reviewing work and offering constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate leadership in task and project execution, taking ownership of deliverables within defined areas of responsibility.
  • Stay current with Splunk best practices, tools, and innovations to drive continuous improvement and system evolution.
  • Work with other teams providing data to ensure license limits and continued health.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Software Engineering.
  • Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
