Senior Software Engineer (all genders)
Finding clothes that fit is a challenging topic in the e-commerce fashion industry. As a Software Engineer in the Size and Fit Team, you will be part of a core team developing products and production infrastructure to provide customers with the best size and fit experience thanks to data-driven recommendations.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

Design, build and improve large-scale software solutions for data products

Scale the infrastructure to future needs by enabling fast and efficient machine learning algorithmic development and production

Enrich our engineering culture by encouraging knowledge sharing and driving technical discussions within the team

Work side by side with applied scientists, software engineers, product managers and business developers

Contribute to the community through technical blogs
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-
Self driven engineer who shares passion for helping customers find the right fit
-
Understand the properties of large scale distributed systems and have proven track record in building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems

Experience of writing production applications in Go lang

Experience with creating and consuming APIs (e.g. RESTful, GraphQL)

Familiarity with containerization technologies, in particular Docker and Kubernetes
-
Passion for writing clean, maintainable and simple code
-
Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss technical architecture and designs with other senior and principal engineers

Experience in Data Engineering, especially with Databricks and Feature Stores will be considered a significant advantage.

Experience with frontend technologies is a plus, in particular React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript

Experience with Python is a plus

Experience with Java is a plus
