Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer (SRE team), you will primarily focus on designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that enhance reliability across the platform. While working within an SRE-oriented environment, this role is first and foremost a hands-on software engineering position, with a strong emphasis on coding, automation, and building scalable systems.You will work closely with other engineers to deliver highly available, observable, and resilient solutions, leveraging software development best practices to solve reliability and operational challenges.
As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, and Product partners to deliver robust, automated, and efficient systems. The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering expertise, problem-solving skills, and an interest in applying engineering practices to improve system reliability and performance.
Job Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain software solutions that improve system reliability, observability, and scalability across the platform
Develop automation and tooling to support system reliability, capacity planning, and incident response
Contribute to improving Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets
Extend and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices through engineering-driven improvements
Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement long-term fixes through code and automation
Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and contribute to continuous improvement
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed SRE principles through software solutions
Explore and adopt new tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches to continuously improve system performance and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering roles, ideally with exposure to reliability, cloud infrastructure, or SRE environments
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C# (.NET)
Experience building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems (service-oriented / cloud-native architectures)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices
Familiarity with observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (including AKS and related services)
Experience working in high-availability, global SaaS environments
Understanding of system resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery concepts
Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
Nice to have: Experience with Chaos Engineering and/or AIOps

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
208 000 and 312 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles
