Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and efficient full-stack web applications, with a focus on back-end development using modern technologies and frameworks
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to modernize legacy Perl code, ensuring it aligns with current development practices and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established guidelines
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring efficient utilization of system resources
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in cloud environments
Typical Qualifications
- Ideally 4+ years of software engineering experience with significant product development expertise
- Extensive experience as a senior-level full stack engineer, with a strong emphasis on backend development in C#/.NET or Java
- Experience in React, GraphQL
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
- Strong foundation in REST API development and cloud services such as AWS
- Experience creating test frameworks
- Aiding the development of back-end architecture
- Ability to write code that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and readable
- Experience with Agile, CI/CD concepts, and previous healthcare experience is an added plus
