We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on back-end development to join our dynamic team of developers who are at the forefront of building the next generation of schedule templating features. The Team

We are the Schedule Builder team, a group of passionate individuals within the Scheduling zone who are reshaping the way provider schedules are established and resource availability is managed. Our focus is on Schedule Builder, a cutting-edge templating application that empowers healthcare organizations to streamline their scheduling processes and gain real-time insights into provider and resource availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient full-stack web applications, with a focus on back-end development using modern technologies and frameworks
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to modernize legacy Perl code, ensuring it aligns with current development practices and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring efficient utilization of system resources
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in cloud environments

Typical Qualifications

  • Ideally 4+ years of software engineering experience with significant product development expertise
  • Extensive experience as a senior-level full stack engineer, with a strong emphasis on backend development in C#/.NET or Java
  • Experience in React, GraphQL
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
  • Strong foundation in REST API development and cloud services such as AWS
  • Experience creating test frameworks
  • Aiding the development of back-end architecture
  • Ability to write code that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and readable
  • Experience with Agile, CI/CD concepts, and previous healthcare experience is an added plus
