Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) Developer to design, implement, and maintain customer identity and access management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP CDC (Gigya), strong integration expertise, and the ability to deliver secure and scalable customer data solutions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering best-in-class customer experiences in a fast-paced, agile environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement SAP CDC (Gigya) solutions, including registration, login, consent, and profile management flows.
- Customize CDC workflows and policies based on business requirements.
- Integrate SAP CDC with backend systems such as SAP Commerce Cloud and third-party applications.
- Configure and manage APIs, webhooks, and extensions within SAP CDC.
- Implement security best practices, including authentication (SSO), authorization, and data protection.
- Handle identity federation and consent management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user authentication, data flows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, backend, and DevOps teams.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization of CDC implementations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in SAP CX ecosystem (Commerce, Marketing, Sales Cloud).
- Knowledge of JDK upgrades, middleware integration, or API gateways.
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks.
- SAP CDC/Gigya certification (if available).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya).
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and web application development.
- Hands-on integration experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or other SAP CX products is preferred.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with SSO implementations and social identity providers.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Typically, to advance to a new job level, a candidate must demonstrate professional behaviour and should consistently be at the high end of meeting expectations or consistently exceed expectations.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Hybrid role with an expected on site presence in our new Dublin office 2-3 days per week. No special physical demands required.
