JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: 6195 Lusk Blvd, Unit 120, San Diego, CA, 92121 (Position reports to the San Diego, CA office and allows for partial telecommuting.)
DUTIES: Design, develop, and modify highly specialized computer applications to drive user efficiency and overall business success; Design, develop, and deploy Artificial Intelligence-powered solutions using advanced platforms translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making; Review applications to ensure they meet company standards for privacy and security as required by strict internal policies and industry-specific regulations; Create efficient, high performance enhancements to proprietary applications and enhancements that achieve specific customer goals; Design, develop, and implement new technology features that build on existing functionality, including but not limited to integrating with new technology; Confirm compliance with company software development life cycle (SDLC) protocols and ensure project priorities are recorded according to protocols; Raise any risk factors to the appropriate project management team; Improve functionality, reliability, testability, availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of internal applications; Adhere to company version control, release management, and deployment protocols to distribute new functionality to the user base; Satisfy data accessibility standards by ensuring all electronic information and technology is fully usable by people with disabilities; Facilitate all quality assurance protocols, including user acceptance testing, by quickly resolving issues and providing all required metrics and data; Design and develop reports as needed to summarize and analyze application functionality; Build, extend, and enhance applications that accelerate efficiency and innovation across the organization; and Provide post deployment support, quick response times, and resolutions to unexpected service problems in production. Position reports to the San Diego, CA office and allows for partial telecommuting.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years experience in the position offered or a computer related position. Position requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:
* NET, C#, Java;
* REACT, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, NodeJS and AngularJS;
* Web API, Restful web services;
* Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core;
* SQL, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MongoDB;
* Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CI/CD;
* Sonar, GitHub CodeQL, GitHub Dependabot, and Tenable;
* Kubernetes and Docker;
* Selenium, Gherkin and SpecFlow; and
* Scrum and Agile.
RATE OF PAY: $150,864.00-$213,762.00/ per year
