Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce

Position Overview

Aven Hospitality is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to own and evolve our Salesforce platform. This role will be responsible for system administration, optimization, and strategic enhancements across Sales, Service, and Marketing functions.
 

The ideal candidate is based in Bangalore, India and combines deep technical expertise with business acumen in hospitality, revenue management, or customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration & Optimization

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations)
  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security model
  • Design, develop, test, release, and maintain scalable data models, complex workflows rules, validation rules, formulas, custom workflow, process builder, page layouts, custom fields/objects.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and data integrity
  • Monitor and Validate Salesforce Seasonal releases

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Revenue teams to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions

Automation & Enhancements

  • Build and maintain flows, process automation, and Apex (as needed)
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements
  • Lead release management, testing, and deployment processes

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain reporting standards

Integrations & Data Management

  • Manage integrations with PMS, marketing platforms, and third-party hospitality systems
  • Oversee data imports, exports, deduplication, and governance practices
  • Partner with IT on API and middleware solutions

Training & Support

  • Provide ongoing user training and documentation
  • Act as the escalation point for Salesforce support issues
  • Drive adoption and best practices across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (required); Advanced Admin or other certifications preferred
  • Strong experience with Flow, Process Builder (or migrations), and system automation
  • Proven experience in reporting, dashboards, and data management
  • Experience with system integrations and third-party applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Based in Bangalore, India

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing integrations
  • Basic knowledge of Apex, SOQL, or Lightning components
