We’re looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer based in Brazil to join a high-performing team building mission-critical applications. You’ll work across the stack with modern technologies, focusing on scalable, reliable, and secure systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in complex technical environments, enjoys collaborating with distributed teams, and takes pride in delivering clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Design and develop full-stack applications with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Build and maintain scalable backend services in AWS environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and product management
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions for new features and systems
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose solutions to improve systems
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Strong experience building and deploying applications in AWS
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing practices, and software architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed, remote-first teams
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
