Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or Related field
- Experienced in Prime Brokerage, capital market, Investment banking domain is a plus
- Design, develop and maintain high performance Java based applications
- Experience in Java Web Application Development, Multi-threading, Spring (Core, MVC, Batch), Hibernate, SQL, & Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or later) Spring framework and RESTful APIs
- Exposure to AI Tools and Models for Software development
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms
- Have exposure to any of the below
- Exposure to Prime Brokerage
- Experienced in Equities, Bonds, derivatives trading
- Experience in trade capture/clearing/settlement
- Experience in market connectivity and trading venues
- Experience in capital market Risk & Margin system
- Experience in Order flow, trade capture, reporting.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Maven, Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React/Angular/JavaScript)
- Exposure to Kafka/Redis for real time data processing
Job Expectations:
- Required to work in the office as per organization's In Office Adherence / Return to Office (RTO)
- Job Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experienced in leading technology transformations and application modernization
