Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Seller Experience Collective
The Seller Experience Collective’s mission is to build a best-in-class selling experience for all our users. The seller scope includes, for example, depositing items on the marketplace, chatting and negotiating with buyers, integrating with partners and a lot more. Indeed, our large variety of sellers (individuals, businesses, consignors, brand partners’ customers) all have product requirements and challenges.
What you'll do 👜
- Design and build the future Seller experience of the Vestiaire Collective platform
- Work closely with the squad to prioritize bugs, features and technical refactoring
- Assess legacy code in our PHP monolith to architect and implement bounded domains
- Build out tech designs, documentation, monitoring and logging for features to improve reliability and observability
- Work with iOS/Android/Web engineers to define robust and extensible APIs
- Contribute to technical roadmap to align engineering efforts with product deliverables
Who you are ⭐
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer
- Autonomous - You take full ownership of the architecture and technical design of the code you deliver
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and associated methodologies (SOLID, CLEAN, Domain-Driven Design, etc.)
- Professional experience in building scalable, maintainable and robust backends, using PHP (Golang is a plus)
- Product-driven - Your Focus is on the experience of the end-user when designing and implementing features
- Data-oriented - You understand the importance of monitoring technical and business KPIs
- Strong knowledge with the Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and their ceremonials
