About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, PHP to join our growing engineering team. This is a critical role focused on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using PHP and Laravel. While the core focus is backend development, the ideal candidate will bring full-stack capabilities, with experience in React and TypeScript considered a strong plus.
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—a self-starter who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and consistently drives projects forward. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver meaningful impact and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
•Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across the stack.
•Collaborate with frontend developers; experience with React and TypeScript is a plus.
•Write clean, testable, and scalable code, following best practices.
•Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, translating technical ideas into business value.
•Take initiative and drive projects from ideation to delivery with minimal oversight.
•Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and team discussions to raise the bar across the team.
Requirements:
•Extensive experience in PHP, with strong proficiency in Laravel.
•Solid understanding of REST APIs, databases, and backend architecture.
•Full-stack development experience preferred; React and TypeScript are a plus.
•Proven ability to work independently and lead initiatives end-to-end.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Comfortable in an agile environment with fast-moving priorities.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
