Job DescriptionThe Senior Software Engineer delivers high‑quality, scalable solutions, resolves complex technical challenges, and guides tasks to completion.
You can take complex user stories and technical requirements, break them down into well‑defined tasks, estimate effort, and deliver reliably. Using understanding of business and user needs, you will influence technical decisions, prioritization, and overall solution quality.
This role is well suited to a collaborative professional who excels in a fast‑moving environment, enjoys mentoring others, and develops skills through hands‑on work and knowledge sharing.
You will report into the Software Team and Quality Assurance Manager.
What you'll do:
- Lead and contribute to discussions and backlog refinement, including scope definition, acceptance criteria, and architectural considerations.
- Translate complex functional and non‑functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and implement correct, performant, scalable, and reliable code following development standards, processes, and acceptance criteria.
- Investigate and resolve complex defects (internal and external), performing Root Cause Analysis.
- Implement automated tests at all application levels (unit, component, integration, end‑to‑end) to ensure quality and stability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and reviews.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and delivery commitments.
What you'll bring:
- Experience with software development and testing processes supporting scalable solutions.
- 5+ years of experience .NET / C# development
- Experience with design and architectural patterns
- Solid knowledge of OOP / SOLID principles
- Experience with database development and SQL
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with WPF, WCF, jQuery
- Experience with QA methodologies and tools
- Experience with secure development best practices
- Experience working against defined SDLC processes
- Experience with different technologies is also desirable, including DevOps, TDD, NUnit, SpecFlow, and SonarQube.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET WebForms, NodeJS, and NuGet.
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL , experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git/Bitbucket, exposure to ML.NET or Python ML tools is a nice-to-have.
