The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. As part of Finance & Treasury Technology, FS Analytics PACE Technology Crew is responsible for:

Providing end-to-end technology solutions for Group Finance, Audit and Procurement.

Delivery of new business projects, managing the Solution Development Life Cycle, business analysis, application development, user acceptance testing, system implementation and change management for these projects
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be working within a cross-functional squad responsible for the technical design, development, and rollout of key enhancements to our end-users. You’re constantly pushing the boundaries to help deliver outcomes that define future industry trends and your passion for outstanding user experience and ability to solve complex problems is key to developing high quality technical solutions. Also, you will be a strong advocate for best practices, capable of challenging and being challenged, to deliver the best technical solutions for our customers. With your rich blend of skillsets, you will contribute to the systems end-to-end as well as manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing.

Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

Backend - ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL

Frontend - JavaScript (React/Angular), Typescript

Expertise with Microservices architecture and RESTful API development

DevOps and CI/CD tools – TeamCity, GitHub, GitHub actions, Artifactory, Octopus deploy

Database designs and database programming in MSSQL including SSIS, SSRS

Familiarity with AWS EC2, Docker containers, and Kubernetes

Exposure to Security tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk would be an advantage

Any experience with the following would be great – PowerShell Scripting, Migrating and modernising on prem solutions (.NET\SQL) to function efficiently on the AWS cloud, Financial Services background
