Description
We are a forward-thinking team creating cutting-edge, cloud-based communication solutions. Our backend systems leverage the latest C# and .NET Core technologies, deployed in Kubernetes on AWS. This role is a hybrid role and is open to candidates located in Stockholm or Malmo or Madrid.
If you’re a Software Engineer with a passion for problem-solving, clean code, and modern DevOps practices, we’d love to have you on our team.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of developing and maintaining high-performing backend systems while contributing to all stages of the software lifecycle. In this role, you will:
- Develop scalable and resilient distributed systems using C# and .NET Core.
- Work closely with engineers, DevOps specialists, and product managers in an agile, cross-functional team.
- Build and maintain applications running on Kubernetes, actively monitor production systems, and ensure reliability.
- Leverage AWS tools and services to deploy, optimize, and scale cloud-based systems.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, with a focus on system performance and scalability.
- Enhance automation, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Influence architectural decisions and actively contribute to enhancing our development and operational practices.
Requirements
- Major professional experience building and maintaining backend systems in production.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and developing distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A passion for clean, testable code and modern software practices.
Good to have
- Service-oriented architecture and microservices.
- Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL, Redis).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
- Incident response and on-call rotations.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as C++, Python, or Kotlin
- Experience with Asterisk and VoIP protocols, preferably SIP.
