Job Description
As a Software Engineer on the Money Management Ops & Platform team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining our brokerage operations tooling, compliant data archival, and the automations platforms that power some of our most popular product offerings including Paycheck Distributions and Automatic Stock and BTC purchases. You'll contribute to platform improvements that make our systems more robust and scalable, and the tools and services you build will create significant value and impact at scale.
As a member of the team, you'll:

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in brokerage operations, legal, and compliance
• Serve internal customers, from front office to product teams within Money Management and across Cash
• Build domain expertise in banking and investing, including the mechanics and regulations of securities trading
• Design resilient, scalable systems within our microservice and event-driven architecture
• Hold your teammates - and yourself - to high engineering standards
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• Participate in on-call rotation

You have:

• 5+ years of software development or equivalent experience
• An open mind and desire to learn
• A strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer
• Ability to excel in macro and micro elements of software design
• A pragmatic approach with a focus on delivery
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
