As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead the development of cutting-edge adtech capabilities that are reshaping how we deliver paid media. You'll work on a complex big data platform that optimizes audience targeting across key publisher platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to gather and understand requirements.
Work with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solutions meet desired outcomes.
Design and implement capabilities across our product offerings.
Identify and execute internal process improvements.
Adhere to coding standards and best practices to enhance efficiency and reusability.
Technical Stack
Utilize advanced Google Cloud technologies for data processing, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, DataProc, Vertex AI, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Run.
Develop primarily in Python with GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in data engineering and architecture, with a track record of leading strategic initiatives.
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Adaptable to dynamic environments and evolving market demands.
Passion for continuous learning and driving innovation in technology and industry trends.
Core technical qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer for orchestrating workflows.
Proficient in BigQuery for data analysis and processing.
Experience with Dataproc for managing and processing large datasets.
Strong programming skills in Python for development.
Familiarity with PySpark for big data processing.
