Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with 5-8 years of experience who is proficient in developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance Java applications. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in AWS cloud services and be capable of leveraging these tools to optimize and deploy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications and services.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to code reviews, mentoring, and best practices for development and deployment.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proven experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Additionals:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
